Rubicon Express in support of the 4Wheelparts Truckf Fest brought out some of the newest products for the attendees to take a look at!  Featured in our Rubicon Booth was Metal Cloaks (formerly Rev1-11) newest TJ build up with the Rubicon Express Rear Radius 3.5 inch lift installed with 37inch Goodyear MTRs; also featured was a beautify built 2 door JK with the RE 3.5 inch JK Radius long-arm  system installed with  a custom one off “CJ styled” grill and shorty bumper.  We fielded many questions about our new $579.95 “3.5 Standard JK system”  and explained the many benefits of the radius rear suspensions that were seen on both the TJ and JK.  Like always, we had a great time talking with all of the people who came through the booth and look forward to seeing you out on the trail.

Waking early the next morning the brilliant sky was contrasted with dark clouds that shadowed the ground as we headed down the road for our next trail adventure.  Rubicon Express was invited to come along on the Off-Road Adventures trail run that was limited to around 20-30 rigs… good a nice small group for a Moab trail ride we all thought.  When we arrived at the trail head, the count of the Jeeps had been totaled and was over 80 rigs!  We shot up to the front of the group and gave a lift to the film crew covering the BFG tire… lucky for them we had our rigs equipped with the new Goodyear MTR tires with Kevlar so we were always right where they needed us to be.  The day went by quickly with some spectacular obstacles, unusual awards ceremonies, and plenty of photo opportunities. Lucky for us all the skilled trail leaders navigated the entire group through the entire trail smoothly.

Well, we loaded up the Semi and headed out to Moab Utah for a fast paced crazy week of 4wheeling. We arrived in Moab after the long drive out just in time for a quick nap and then rushed out for our first trail run out on the Steel Bender trail. The sky was clear with no clouds in sight when we met up with our Friend Jim the owner of Dynatrac. Jim invited us out on an early morning trip to see the beautiful scenery of the snow covered trail; The 4door Hemi JK, TJ stretch, and TJ 4.5 short arm lifted rig tackled each obstacle with ease while the TJ stretch showed the crowd what a low center of gravity and a little wheel base can do on the off camber ascents and descents; especially compared to our friend in the Bronco! After a full day of hanging out with friends and some epic off-roading we grabbed some dinner and retired for the evening.

We are loading up for Easter Jeep Safari! Rubicon Express will be open as usual; however a few of us will be enjoying some fantastic scenery (and hopefully good weather) in Moab. Please check back later for some pics!
